General Overview

Welcome to our home in Frenchs Forest, right in the heart of Sydney's Northern Beaches. We're surrounded by national park bushland at the end of the street, with some of Sydney's best beaches and waterways just a short drive away — Manly, Narrabeen, Dee Why, Curl Curl and Freshwater are all within easy reach. It's the perfect base for a family who loves the outdoors: swim, surf, walk, paddle, hike or just soak up the laid-back beach-suburb lifestyle.

The Space

Set on a level block with a north-facing aspect, the house is bright and sun-filled throughout the day. The fully enclosed backyard is a standout: large, flat, fully fenced and genuinely built for kids. There is an inground pool with spa (heating not available during swap), a trampoline and toys set up for children. Bedrooms and bathrooms - 5 bedrooms with 4 set up for sleeping: 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Queen Sofa and 2 cots - 2 bathrooms

Neighbourhood

The Area Beaches Manly Beach is about 15–20 minutes by car (or catch the ferry from Manly Wharf into Circular Quay for a classic Sydney harbour crossing). It's a broad, patrolled surf beach lined with cafes, restaurants and the famous Corso strip connecting the ocean side to the harbour side. Narrabeen, Dee Why, Curl Curl and Freshwater beaches are all close — each has its own character, from family-friendly rock pools to popular surf breaks. Narrabeen Lagoon A short drive away, Narrabeen Lagoon is one of the best-kept secrets of the Northern Beaches with a flat, scenic 8km walking/cycling loop around it, plus kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and picnic spots along the foreshore. Bush walking tracks Frenchs Forest backs directly onto Garigal National Park, with trailheads literally at the end of our street. The Heath Trail and Frenchs Creek Loop are local favourites for a morning walk or trail run, without ever leaving the suburb. Getting around We're close to Warringah Mall for shopping, a short drive to Chatswood for a bigger shopping and dining precinct, and 4minute walk to bus direct bus to Manly. Sydney's Northern Beaches is a car-friendly area — a car is highly recommended for the stay. We may consider a car swap depending on circumstances.

Getting to my home

Getting Here From the airport: ~25km, 35–45 min by car (longer in peak traffic). No direct train to the Northern Beaches; public transport means train into the city then a bus, so most guests drive or take a transfer.

Getting Around

Getting around: A car is handy here — it opens up all the beaches. Regular buses run to the CBD (~40 min) and Manly (~20 min), where you can catch the ferry into the city.
