Welcome to our modern, bright 2-bedroom condo located in the heart of Laval! Whether you want to explore Montreal or enjoy a relaxed, walk-everything neighborhood, our home is an ideal base.

The Space

Kitchen: Recently renovated and fully equipped for cooking enthusiasts. Comes with a stove, microwave, 6 QT Instant Pot, Vitamix blender, and a fully automatic espresso machine for your morning coffee. Bedrooms: 2 comfortable bedrooms, one with a Queen mattress and the second with a double pull-out sofa bed. Workspace: High-speed Wi-Fi and 2 dedicated work desks, perfect for remote work or longer stays. Bathroom: Recently renovated full bathroom featuring a tub and shower setup, along with an in-unit washer and dryer. Climate Control: Wall-mounted air conditioning keeping the condo comfortable in the summer. Balcony: Private balcony access (unfurnished). Parking: Includes one private outdoor parking space.

Guest Access

Our condo is located on the 3rd floor of the building. Please note that there is no elevator, so guests will need to be comfortable climbing 3 flights of stairs. You will have full, private access to the entire apartment during your stay, as well as a private outdoor parking space if you are driving. Plants & Pets: We have no pet, but we do have a few house plants (spider plant, peace lily, rosemary, turmeric) that appreciate a light watering during longer stays.

Notes

We ask all guests to respect our non-smoking policy and to be mindful of our neighbors and community, adhering to standard condo syndicate rules (such as respecting quiet hours). We do not have any pets. A car swap might be possible for the right exchange partners, depending on mutual trust, driver history, and insurance compatibility, please let us know if this is something you are interested in discussing!

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is incredibly walkable, lively, and safe. You’ll find everything you need within a 5-minute walk: two major grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, cafes, hairdressers, and a great variety of restaurants. We are also located right in Laval's cultural and entertainment hub. You can easily walk to Place Bell (for concerts and hockey games), Espace MontMorency, Place des Arts Laval, Salle André-Mathieu, and Centropolis outdoor pedestrian district filled with terraces and dining. There are also several lovely local parks and green spaces nearby for walks or cycling.

Getting to my home

By Air: Fly into Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL). From the airport, it is about a 20-to-25-minute drive or taxi ride to our home (approx. 25 km). Alternatively, you can take public transit (747 Express Bus to the Metro, connecting to the Orange Line). By Road: We are easily accessible via major highways (Autoroute 15 and 440) connecting to Laval. We include one private, dedicated outdoor parking space for your use. By Rail: If arriving via train (VIA Rail at Montreal's Gare Centrale), you can easily jump right onto the Metro (Orange Line) and ride it straight to us without ever needing a car.

Nearest airport

Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) Approximately 25 km away (about a 20-25 minute drive depending on traffic, or accessible via airport bus and metro transfer).

Getting Around

You truly do not need a car to stay here! We are just a 5-minute walk to Metro Montmorency (the end of the Orange Line), which connects you directly to downtown Montreal in about 15 to 20 minutes, saving you from city traffic and parking hassle. Every essential amenity: grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and entertainment, is within a 3-to-10-minute walk. For venturing further around Laval, local bus networks run right from the Montmorency terminal.

Bonjour! We are a family of 4 who love exploring new cultures, foods, and landscapes together. We live for giving our two kids 9 and 10, the gift of seeing the world firsthand! Back home in Laval, Quebec, we live in a cozy 2-bedroom condo just 15 minutes from downtown Montreal. As experienced travel enthusiasts, we treat every host’s home with the utmost care, clean respect, and gratitude: just as we would expect guests to treat ours. We speak fluent English and French, and we’re enthusiastically practicing our Spanish for our upcoming adventures in South America! We’d love to connect with hosts who are open to 1-month or multi-week stays. Plants & Home Care: We have a big green thumb at home! We lovingly care for everything from peace lilies and spider plants to rosemary and turmeric, so your house plants will be in great hands while you're away. Note on pets: While we have mild pet allergies that prevent us from staying with heavy-shedding indoor pets, we are happy to care for hypoallergenic pets, outdoor animals, or assist with light farm/garden duties!
