General Overview

Lovely, walkable 2-bedroom + 2-bathroom apartment (sleeps up to 6 comfortably). Very close to public transit, beaches, ferries, library, grocery store, coffee shops & restaurants. Ideal for families! We have lots of toys and kids bicycles we would love to leave out for you :)

The Space

Master bedroom: Queen Bed, en suite bathroom has a big deep tub and shower. Kids room: Single trundle bed (pulls out to be a king-size bed, ideal if two adults are sleeping in this room). Also one toddler-sized bed that I’ve slept in too many nights but don’t recommend if you’re over age 10 🤣 Living room: Fold-out couch (becomes a small double bed).

Guest Access

Second floor (elevator or stair access), easy street parking or access by public transit (bus is just steps away!)

Notes

We have a lovely patio for morning coffee, fully stocked kitchen, natural gas fireplace and bbq which you are very welcome to use! Also a small dedicated workspace in the master bedroom (I work from home) and highspeed wifi. Note that we do not have a television!

Neighbourhood

Everything is steps away! Coffee shops, public library, park, a big pond with fish, grocery and produce stores, banks, drugstore and dollar store are all less than 5-min walk away. If you’re up for a 15-min walk, you’ll find the beach, a gravel trail great for biking or running, playgrounds, skate park and more. Vancouver is 30-min north. BC ferries are a 15-min drive. Vancouver airport is a 20-min drive. Grouse, Cyrpress and Seymour mountains are our favorite winter destinations and we ski all winter long there (they are 45-60 mins north of us, depending on traffic).

Getting to my home

YVR airport. Easy access by bus. Also close to the BC ferries which give you access to the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island.

Nearest airport

YVR Vancouver International is a 20-min drive or bus ride away.

Getting Around

Walk! If you’d like to drive we have easy street parking and there is an EV charger in our building.
