General Overview

Our apartment is located in the historic neighborhood of Santa María, right at the beginning of the center of Cadiz, but without being in the center, which makes it in a very comfortable situation both to access the center on foot, and to leave it towards the area outside the city walls and exit from Cadiz. In addition, we have an urban beach just a 5-minute walk away.

The Space

It is a cosy 40 m² house with a kitchen, bathroom, double bedroom, and sofa bed in the living room with desk. We have high-speed Wi-Fi and a private garage space, which is very valuable in this area, especially if you live in the old town.

Guest Access

It is a single-storey apartment, on the 3rd floor of a building with a lift.

Notes

Being in the old town, the access streets to the apartment are narrow, so before your arrival I will provide you with the exact directions to enter directly into the garage. To ensure a good coexistence in the building, we ask you to respect the rest hours of the neighbors and take care of the accommodation as if it were your own. Please note that no parties or smoking are allowed inside the apartment.

Neighbourhood

The apartment is on Calle Público, in the heart of the Barrio de Santa María, the most authentic and flamenco corner of Cádiz. It is a historic pedestrian area, very safe and a stone's throw from the main monuments of the old town.

Getting to my home

The best option is the train; Central Station is less than a 10-minute walk away. If you come by car, the apartment has a private garage, so you can access directly and forget about looking for parking. Please note that the streets of Santa Maria are narrow and pedestrianised, typical of the old town, so I will provide you with exact access directions before your arrival.

Nearest airport

Jerez Airport (XRY) is about 35 km away (35 minutes by car or direct train). Seville Airport (SVQ) is the nearest international alternative, 130 km away (1 hour and a half by car).

Getting Around

On foot you will enjoy the charm of the old town, an open shopping center full of traditional shops, local crafts and fashion boutiques. For general shopping and big brands, El Corte Inglés shopping centre is just a 10-minute drive away. In addition, the apartment is surrounded by supermarkets, public transport, and the beach within a 5-minute walk.

Hello!, we are Bea and Seba, a couple from Cádiz who love to travel and discover new places like a local. Bea is a high school teacher, I work in a shipyard and our son Daniel, a university student. Also part of the Lug family, our dog. Our apartment is located in the historic neighborhood of Santa María, in the heart of Cadiz. It is a cosy 40 m² apartment with a double bedroom, sofa bed, high-speed Wi-Fi. In addition, we have a private garage space, something very valuable in this area. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away. To help cover the costs of preparing and cleaning the apartment, we request a contribution of €20 per stay.
