We’ve just finished an incredible stay with Peta in Sunrise Beach, and I’m feeling so grateful for the experience. From the very beginning, Peta was fantastic to communicate with — clear, friendly, and so easy to organise an exchange with. Her home is absolutely beautiful, and the location couldn’t be better.
From the house, it’s just a 5‑minute walk down the road to the beach, and what a beach it is — long, peaceful, and stretching for miles. We spent three nights here and made the most of every moment.
Our first full day was spent exploring Noosa, just a short and easy drive away. We wandered through town, soaked up the sunshine, and later took the ferry day pass, which was such a fun way to see the area. The sunset cruise along the river was a real highlight — calm water, golden sky, and that perfect holiday feeling.
On Day 2, we headed to Noosa Woods, walking through the trees until we reached the river mouth, followed by a relaxed stroll along Hastings Street. Peta’s home is in the perfect spot for exploring the coastline, with so many beautiful places within easy reach.
Natalia absolutely adored the huge trampoline in the garden, which added an extra layer of joy to the stay. We truly wished we had longer — always the best sign of a great trip. Many thanks for having us.
