Hospitality
Hospitality Description: We have a guest room with a separate entrance and a separate bathroom, so hospitality exchanges can work well for us. We have already had wonderful hospitality exchange experiences, both as hosts and as guests, and we really enjoy meeting new people this way. Our children especially love the chance to welcome other families and make new friends.

General Overview
Our spacious family home is located in a peaceful village in the Bavarian Alps, close to the Austrian border and Tyrol. Surrounded by mountains, meadows and forests, it is an inviting base for hiking, cycling, swimming, skiing and exploring both Bavaria and Austria. The area offers mountain lakes, traditional villages, family-friendly attractions and many opportunities to enjoy nature directly from the house. Destinations such as Lake Chiemsee, skiing areas and and the Tyrolean Alps can be reached within 20 Minutes. Salzburg and Munich are about an hour.
The Space
The house offers generous living areas and enough space for a family to relax, play and spend time together. It includes comfortable bedrooms, family bathrooms and bright communal areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a Wi-Fi-enabled steam oven, a separate steam cooker, an induction hob and many additional kitchen appliances and utensils for preparing family meals.
Children are welcome and will find books, toys and plenty of outdoor play equipment, including a trampoline, a swing, children’s ride-on vehicles and a sandbox. Outside, there is space to sit, play and enjoy the mountain surroundings. We also have cats and ducks, which are part of our family life and make the stay memorable for guests who enjoy animals. The house provides a comfortable base in every season, whether you return from a day in the mountains, a swim in a nearby lake or an excursion into Bavaria or Tyrol.
Guest Access
The house has more than one floor and therefore includes stairs. It is not suitable for guests who require step-free access. Some private storage areas may remain closed.
Notes
Our home is a lived-in family home rather than a holiday rental. We have cats and ducks, and arrangements for their care will be discussed before the exchange. Families with children are welcome. We are happy to share recommendations for walks, mountain trips, swimming lakes, restaurants and family activities according to the season.
