Quiet forest road with friendly and helpful neighbours, walkable to supermarket, shops, cafes, takeaways. A longer walk through the forest (or short bus or car ride) to Palm Beach.

8 minute walk to buses, shops etc
25 minute walk through forest to beach (or bus can take you there in a few minutes)
You can tap with a credit card/ApplePay etc to pay on the bus, and catch buses to Palm Beach, Onetangi Beach, Oneroa township and Oneroa/ Little Oneroa beaches, as well as to quirky Rocky Bay and to the ferry terminal.
There are also bookable winery tours, plus hop on/hop off tourist buses.
The ferry takes you straight to the main transit hub of downtown Auckland and Commercial Bay centre. You can walk from there to the art gallery, to Viaduct harbour or up Queen St. And you can catch buses or trains to the museum, Newmarket, Parnell, Ponsonby, Sylvia Park Mall etc.
