General Overview

Welcome to our peaceful surf retreat! 🏄🏼‍♂️ Tucked away in a quiet, serene neighborhood, our 3-bedroom villa (+ studio) is the perfect basecamp for experiencing the magic of Portugal's coast. 🇵🇹 We are located just 10 minutes from the vibrant center of Ericeira and amazing beaches, giving you the best of both worlds: ultimate tranquility at home, with world-class surf and culture right down the road. 🏖️ -------------------------------------------------- FYI: We are new to home exchange and platforms like PLU. Currently we are looking to exchange a home with someone in Phoenix, Arizona for the month of December in 2026 so we can visit our family for the holidays. However, we do have an awesome studio for hospitality stays so we can start earning those Globe tokens ;) In starting in 2027 we'll be looking to do much more travel and exchanges 😊 -------------------------------------------------- Whether you are looking to chase waves, work remotely, or simply relax by the fire, our home is set up to make daily living an absolute breeze. The Space & Layout Our villa was designed to balance gathering spaces with privacy. The layout is incredibly family-friendly: the master bedroom is situated up on the first floor, while the kids' bedrooms are located down on the ground floor. Bathrooms: 2 full bathrooms in the main house, plus an additional full bathroom in the studio. The Studio: A fantastic bonus space for remote work, extra privacy, or hosting an additional guest. Stay Connected: We have fast Wi-Fi throughout, making it ideal for digital nomads or those needing to jump on video calls. Cozy Winters: If you are swapping with us during the winter months, the central heating and indoor fireplace keep the house warm and inviting. Outdoor Living The outdoor space is really where this property shines. You can take in breathtaking, unobstructed views of both the mountains and the ocean from our two balconies or the spacious patio—giving you plenty of different perspectives to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine. The Pool: A generous sized swimming pool complete with a diving board. Great for the kids! The Garden: Lush and beautifully maintained garden. Dining Al Fresco: Fire up the charcoal BBQ for an evening cookout after a day at the beach. The Neighborhood & Logistics We really love our neighborhood, it is very peaceful and safe and conveniently located. Daily Needs: We are a quick 5-minute drive to a large grocery store and a great local gym. Parking & Privacy: The villa is surrounded by it's own privacy fence including a private drive way with space to park 1 car as well as plenty parking surrounding the perimeter. Adventure Awaits: We are a 10-minute drive to some of the best surf breaks in Europe, a 30-minute scenic drive to the fairytale castles of Sintra, and just 35 minutes from Lisbon. Bonus: There are many trails just outside our backyard for hiking, trail running or mountain biking. We can't wait to share our slice of Portugal with you!

We do have a pool and currently there is no security gate around it. So if you have young ones that don't know how to swim yet, this is something to consider.

In our neighborhood you will find many hiking trails, historic routes, Portuguese ruins, rivers, and more! Just a few KMs away is an amazing gym as well!

Getting to my home

Easiest way to get to our home is to fly into Lisbon and take an Uber or rent a car. We highly suggest renting a car as our home is a 10 minute drive away from the center of Ericeira and there is lots to explore in this region. Our home is about a 30 minute drive from the Lisbon airport.

Lisbon: 30 minute drive with no traffic.

Getting Around

There is Uber in our area, but not near as much as Lisbon.
