General Overview

Detached Italian villa in the country. Opposite the Majella National Park. Surrounded by woodland. And the sound of nature, birdsong, owls and occasionally we hear the wolves. It's really very magical and tranquil. . Views of rolling hills and tge valley, with hilltop towns and the Adriatic sea in the distance. The nearest beach is Fossacesia 35 minute drive away. Pebble and sandy beaches to choose from. With the mountains at the front of the house. Gated and locked with paved driveway. No nextdoor neighbours. We in in the process of some light renovations re tiling the outside terrace, and painting with some maintenance on the exterior. We will be ready for 2027. More photos to follow, especially indoor.

The Space

The main house is on 2 levels, with a hallway an eat in traditional kitchen with a open fireplace (we are making a few changes to the kitchen and will update the photos when completed)and doors to a large walk out terrace for al fresco dinning and relaxing. At a first floor level at the back of the house. The terrace has an electric awning for shade. Large Charcoal BBQ. Outdoor dinning table and 4 chairs. Out door seating for relaxing. Living room, office/studio and bathroom with shower. Stairs up to the 2nd floor with 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom. You will have access to the guest bedroom with side tables, draws and wardrobe. Our bedroom will be closed off with our personal belongings. You have double window doors front and back of the bedroom with a balcony that runs the full length at the back with incredible views, including sunrise. And a balcony at the front of the bedroom. Walk out large terrace from the kitchen on the 1st floor. Electric awning for shade. Charcoal BBQ. Outdoor dinning table and 4 chairs. Out door seating for relaxing.

Neighbourhood

Quite and peaceful. Our closest neighbour is across the road up the hill. The village of Palombaro is a 25 minute walk with 2 bars, 2 restaurants. A very good butchers and general grocer and a post office. The grocer and butcher also offer cheese's, hams, salamis. Even though we are rural and 525 metres above sea level there are plenty of towns nearby. Market town of Casoli is 15 minutes. Fara San Martino with it's crystal clear water and gorge. City of Guardiagrele is 25 minutes. Lanciano 30min drive And many others within 30 and 45 mins. Decent supermarkets within 15 minutes. Plenty of cafés/bars and restaurants to choose from within 15 -20 mins 35 mins to the Trabochi coast - people and sandy beaches. Free beaches and ones with sunbeds and parasols. Quiet and busy beaches.

Getting to my home

If you are flying in you will need to hire a car. From Rome Airport it's 3 hour drive. From Pescara/Abruzzo our closest Airport is 50 mins drive From Ancona Airport 2 and half hour drive From Naples Airport 2.45 mins drive
