Our 9 bed cottage is in a quiet area of Norway, only 1 hour from Oslo by car. Here we walk, rest, enjoy the sun or sit in front of the fireplace on rainy day. There are other cottages around, sometimes in use as well. The area, Rakkestad,  has many kind people, most of them farmers. To get around you need a car. You can visit the little town of Rakkestad, where they have everything you need, areas to walk, swim and climb. Enjoy!

The Space

This is a cabin in the nature. We do have a trampoline in the garden and a smaller cabin beside the main house. The smaller cabin have room for three people. There you’ll find some toys as well! 

In the main building you find two bedrooms with space for three in each room.

The kitchen was renovated April 2026 and is brand new. 

The living room as a cozy fireplace and there are plenty of wood to burn behind the house.

Oslo airport is the nearest airport and is 2 hours away.

Getting Around

You’ll need drive for 20 min to get to the city where they use many grocery shops, cafes, gas station, library, cinema, hairdresser and a train station that takes you to Oslo.
