General Overview

Our home is a collection of traditional cabins made from recycled ironwood. It’s set amongst lush tropical gardens, with a private pool and plenty of shade and spots to read. Our lane is very quiet and backs onto pandan fields so there is no construction or road noise, just the occasional sound of our neighbors’ chickens!

The Space

We have an open air kitchen and living room where the breeze passes through. It stays cool throughout the day thanks to the deep verandah, and we’ve never had issues with mosquitos or critters. We have one large bedroom with a couch and en-suite and a separate smaller bedroom with en-suite. The bedrooms are air conditioned. It’s a charming, rustic space that perfectly fits, not fights with the beautiful surrounding environment. We have a cleaner and pool guy who visit twice and week, so you can rest assured it will be spick and span.

Neighbourhood

Kerobokan is the perfect spot to access many of Bali’s lovely areas for day trips. We are 20 minutes from Canggu, 15 minutes from Seminyak, 25 minutes to Sanur and 40 minutes from Ubud. We are in a local area, our daughter loves playing with her neighbors on the lane. We are 5-10 minutes from Kerobokan cafes, restaurants, a brewery, Pilates, gyms and spas!

There is space to park a car if renting a car.

Ngurah Rai Airport is 30 minutes away.

Melati

We are two high school teachers with a 1 year old baby. We love walking, getting out into nature and going to the beach. I’m a former city slicker and my husband is from Alice Springs, so for holidays we have loved bustling Tokyo to bush camping and everything in between! We are new to home exchange but have subleased our house before and had a great relationship with the tenants.
