Hi, I'm Brian O'Raleigh, an Irish/Australian who has lived in Australia since the age of 17, but returns to Ireland every year or two to visit friends and family. My wife is a chef; we are both teetotal- not against the drink, just don't use it! I am a published author, 14 books, various genres. Just completing a 5-book series set on Inis Mór. My mother was a Galway woman from Salthill, my father a Garryowen man. Our Unit here in Coogee is literally 3 minutes from the ocean. One bedroom, but we have a spare bed we set up for an extra guest in an alcove off the living room. A lovely Galway woman stayed in our unit for a month 2 years ago with her son when we swapped with her.
