General Overview

Our bright and spacious home is located in an extremely walkable neighbourhood, and only a short drive or bike ride away from the ocean, mountain trails and ski resorts, and downtown Vancouver. We're also en route to Squamish and Whistler! -> Note, if there are dates that you're curious about that aren't in our calendar please message anyway! We have local options that allow us flexibility to host :)

The Space

Our home has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, with a large main living floor that connects the kitchen, dinning area and living room. We have two fun kids rooms, and a rumpus room with lots of toys and a TV (and hockey paraphernalia!). The master bedroom has a king size bed and TV for low key evenings! To cozy up in the winter we have a wood burning fireplace in our living room, and for the summer a private backyard with a BBQ, outdoor seating and lighting. A Peloton bike and tread are available for home workouts.

Guest Access

We have 3 floors - think lots of stairs. Our front door is accessed by stairs, as is our backdoor. We do have street level access with a smaller set of stairs.

Notes

We are a duplex! We share a wall with a really nice older family next door. We are also of course family friendly :) We have a carport available for parking.

Neighbourhood

We are in a super central area of North Vancouver. Just 2 blocks away from the main street - Lonsdale Avenue - where you'll find a Loblaws grocery store, all main Canadian banks, liquor store, pharmacies and restaurants. Nature is literally all around you here: go skiing/hiking/mountain biking within a few minute drive. Or down to the beautiful waterfront and Shipyards. There are also plenty of kid friendly parks just a short walk away. We are a perfect jumping off point for day trips to downtown Vancouver (and Lower Mainland), Deep Cove, Squamish and even Whistler is only a 1.5 hr drive.

Getting to my home

The Canada Line takes you directly from Vancouver Airport all the way to North Vancouver, via the Seabus. We are also a 5 min drive from the Trans Canada Highway.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Approx 27 km.

Getting Around

You can walk or bike (or e-bike!) almost everywhere in North Vancouver. Transit is just 2 blocks away which can take you downtown or to other areas of the North Shore. There is street parking in front of our house, and we have a carport, for those with a car.
