THE SOUTH-FACING TERRACE — OUR FAVOURITE ROOM
36 m² facing south with integrated outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Sunny from 9 am to 8 pm. This is where you 
Spend most of your time — Basque aperitifs, family meals, balmy evenings.

THE IDEAL LOCATION
2 minutes walk from Hendaye train station: San Sebastián in 30 minutes, Biarritz in 40 minutes, Bayonne in 45 minutes — without cars. Beach 15 minutes walk. Shops, markets, Basque restaurants within walking distance.

FOR FAMILIES
Dedicated baby room (cot, bath, stroller, high chair, etc.). The accommodation has been designed to comfortably accommodate 2 adults + children without friction in the morning (3 toilets!).

We'll be happy to share our secret spots — restaurants, beaches, markets, and local experiences with you.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The accommodation is located on Rue de la Gare, in Hendaye-ville — a 2-minute walk from the international train station and 15 minutes from the
minutes walk to the large beach (3 km of sand, the largest in the French Basque Country). 
Shops, bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.

HENDAYE, GATEWAY TO THE BASQUE COUNTRY
Hendaye is the southernmost city in France, separated from Spain by the Bidasoa River. A position 
unique: sea, mountains and two cultures at your fingertips.

  30 min by train — one of the best restaurants in Europe, old town, La Concha beach
- Hondarribia: 10 min — listed Spanish medieval village, pintxos and Basque architecture
- Biarritz: 30 min — surfing, Rocher de la Vierge, Les Halles market
- Bayonne: 40 min — parties, chocolate, cathedral
- Pyrenees: 45 min — hiking, La Rhune by train

Surfing (beginners and advanced spots), cycling along the Bidasoa to Spain, kayaking, weekly market, 
Basque pelota, gastronomy (pintxos, Basque cake, txakoli).

Hendaye is the ideal starting point to explore everything
without a car.

The train station is a 2-minute walk away: San Sebastián in 30 minutes by train, or in 1h30 on foot along the coastal path that runs along the Bidasoa and the cliffs — one of the most beautiful hikes in the Basque Country.

In the nearby Pyrenees, the paths lead to the ventas d'Ibardin — the Spanish grocery store and bar perched on the border where you can eat pintxos and txuletas

The wild coves of the Basque coast can be reached by bike or on foot. And for surfers, Hendaye offers the longest wave in France — ideal for all levels, all year round.
