The walking trails and natural beauty of Belair National Park and Wittunga Botanic Garden are just minutes away, while the vibrant culture of Adelaide - including highlights like the South Australian Museum, is only a 25-minute drive. Hello there! My name is Laura, and I’m 33 years old. I live in Adelaide, South Australia, with my husband Ben and our two children, aged 3 and 1. Ben and I came to Australia on working holiday visas 10 years ago and never left. Adelaide is such a beautiful part of the world - it has everything you could want: beautiful beaches, amazing wine regions, incredible countryside, and, of course, beautiful weather. Ben and I have owned and operated our own small business for 8 years, and since gaining permanent residency last year, we have purchased our first home in the Adelaide Hills. The area we live in could be described as the perfect escape, filled with fresh air, great food and absolutely stunning scenery. We have hosted on Airbnb for a few years and really love the idea of a home swap as we regularly visit our families back in the UK. We absolutely love the outdoors and exploring new places - we love going to the beach, or to national parks for a long walk or a picnic. We live around the corner from Belair National Park, which has kangaroos, koalas, kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets and more! Our children could spend all day just exploring and looking at them all - that’s our idea of a perfect day!
