General Overview

We live in a small organic mountain farm with a wide view, lots of peace, forest and good air. We have 6 cows, 1 horse, 1 dog, chickens and bees. We are part of the cross-border Geopark Karavanke, on the border with Slovenia. You can go hiking, cycling along the Drava or Lavant rivers, visit many museums, and in the Petzen you can cycle or kayak in the former tunnel. There are several mountain bike trails and the possibility to book paragliding. There are several swimming lakes in the area.

The Space

Large kitchen with adjoining spacious room and a barrier-free bathroom and toilet above the hallway on the ground floor There is also an outbuilding, the former granary (wooden hut), which is also equipped with 3 beds in 2 rooms and a summer kitchen and a barrel sauna with wood stove.

Notes

We cultivate the farm extensively, we have 6 cows and a horse, which have been retired together with Franz. A dog, a few chickens and bees also live with us. Our children have moved into the world and so we have a lot of space at our disposal.

we live on the mountain at 900 m above sea level, our farm can be reached by car or e-bike. But we can also pick up someone from the train from St. Paul.

You can go on cross-border hikes, shops and everything else are unfortunately only accessible by car or e-bike. Approx. 9 km downhill!
