The house is located in lively and multi cultural Shepherds Bush which is served with excellent transport links to all the tourist hotspots of Central London, the airports and West End, Hampstead Heath, Kensington and Notting Hill are close by.

Nearest airport

Heathrow Airport is the nearest airport accessible via tube / overground. Gatwick and Stansted Airports are also easily accessed from Shepherds Bush.

Getting Around

Our home is close to three London tube/overground stations. The nearest bus stop is less than 3 minutes walk. There are multiple grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants and takeaway outlets within minutes of the house.

Elisa and Dom

We are Elisa and Dominic. I’ve been teaching yoga for over 25 years and Dominic was formerly a printing company director, freelance property renovator and a long time qualified yachtsman and skipper. We split our time house sitting and living in our homes in West London and Southern Spain. We started home swapping, pre internet, over 35 years ago when our kids were young. We enjoyed home swapping with other families and giving our children a taste of living in real homes in different parts of the world. From around 2008, with our children grown up and us no longer in need of large homes for family holidays, we made the shift to house sitting. Over the last 18 years we’ve taken care of numerous gorgeous homes and beloved pets both at home in the UK and abroad. When undertaking house, garden or pet sits we don’t make a charge. Instead we live on the income from renting out our own home via Airbnb. Over all these years, we have enjoyed trusting relationships with our house guests, our home swap partners and our house/pet sitting owners. During the past 40 years, we have had nothing but positive experiences of home swapping, house sitting and renting out our own home to other couples and family groups. Collectively these undertakings have taken us to some wonderful places, enabled us to build trusting relationships with like minded people from all over the world and have enabled us to live a slower paced and trustful lifestyle.
