General Overview

Our beautiful apartment is a peaceful, green sanctuary tucked within a charming four-storey building, set in a fantastic location in Thao Dien, the expat area of Saigon.

The Space

The home is light and airy with leafy outlooks that create a calm feel from the moment you step inside. Featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it’s ideal for couples, families, or small groups looking for a relaxed and comfortable stay. Being in a low-rise building means no long waits for lifts, just a quieter, more easygoing atmosphere that feels far removed from the bustle of the city. Downstairs, you’ll find a small gym and a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by greenery - rarely used by other residents, so it often feels like your own private oasis. With 24/7 security and post-stay cleaning included, everything is set up for a smooth and stress-free stay. We provide towels, and there is no cleaning fee - just arrive, settle in, and enjoy your own little retreat in the heart of Thao Dien.

We are on the second floor and there is an elevator.

Notes

As part of Vietnamese law, all visitors are required to have their stay legally registered. If you’re staying in a hotel, this is usually done at check-in when reception takes a copy of your passport. For private accommodation, the landlord will take care of the registration - I’ll just need a photo of your passport photo page to complete this step.

Neighbourhood

Thao Dien is an upmarket, vibrant neighbourhood known for its international community, with hundreds of cafés, restaurants, gourmet shops, and supermarkets all within easy walking distance. It’s incredibly convenient - we often joke it feels like a bubble, as you rarely need to leave.

Getting to my home

Our street is one of the best in Thao Dien, just one block from the main dining area, so you’re close to everything while still enjoying a quieter setting. Right next door are tennis and pickleball courts, and guests are welcome to borrow our sports equipment during their stay. Despite its relaxed feel, Thao Dien is only 7 km from the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, with quick and affordable Grab/Uber rides (around USD $4) taking you to popular spots like Nguyen Hue Walking Street and The Cafe Apartments.

Nearest airport

The airport is an affordable 40 minute ride from our apartment (around USD $10).

Getting Around

We walk or ride our scooter to most places but recommend the Grab app for car or motorbike rides, all very affordable. Grab also delivers food, often much cheaper than cooking.
