General Overview
All day sun, views across Hawkes Bay to the mountains, space, and privacy. Large deck and outdoor living area. Indoor and outdoor gas fires.
A quiet, safe and friendly neighbourhood, in Havelock North village. Whilst a precious little village, Havelock North is only 5 minutes drive from Hastings City and 30 minutes from Napier City. Hawke’s Bay boasts high sunshine hours and has always been known as the ‘fruit bowl’ of NZ. More recently we’ve become the latest international wine capital
Wineries, good restaurants and cafes abound and we’re only 20 minutes drive from two popular Sandy surf beaches.
At home Wifi is good and there is a 65 inch 2025 LG Smart TV.
In most cases our 2018 Subaru Outback will also be available.
The Space
Our place is on 3 levels, with the main upstairs living and deck self contained for a couple, and great indoor / outdoor living and entertaining
Large double vehicle access, laundry and workshop is at mid level and downstairs are two more double bedrooms (leading out onto a patio and lawn); and the second bathroom
The master bedroom has a King size bed, the two downstairs bedrooms have Queen beds and there is a king sigle bed in the office
The private section is large with a flat lawn to play on, and fruit and avocado trees
Guest Access
Whilst 3 levels, there are only 2 short staircases up and down from the internal access car garage. Eight steps up reveals the large open plan living / entertaining lounge, kitchen and deck ( with indoor and outdoor gas fires) master bedroom, office and large bathroom.
Notes

David
We are a recently retired married couple who’ve travelled a bit and hope to travel lots more. Our 6 adult children live around New Zealand and also overseas, and we are very grateful to have a growing number of grandchildren.
We keep fit, and enjoy adventuring to new places. Dave particularly enjoys fishing and Tania, gardening and reading.
We haven’t exchanged however we Air BnB’d our family home for several years and recently set up a permanent large caravan and annexe within several hours of home
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
