Nearest airport

Our apartment is located at the Biotope City (Favoriten district), beautifully connected to Vienna’s main transit hubs: Wien Hauptbahnhof and Wien Meidling. - Vienna International Airport (VIE): Fastest & recommended. Take a direct high-speed ÖBB Railjet (RJ) train straight from the airport. It stops at Wien Hauptbahnhof (15 mins) and then goes directly to Wien Meidling (approx. 20 mins). Both stations are incredibly close to us, just a 5-minute taxi/local transit ride to our doorstep. A direct taxi/Uber from the Vienna airport takes about 20 minutes (€35 - €40). - Budapest Airport (BUD), Hungary: Excellent budget-friendly option. Take a shuttle bus from the airport to Budapest Keleti station, then a direct train to Wien Hauptbahnhof or Wien Meidling (approx. 2.5 hours). - Salzburg Airport (SZG): Take a short bus ride to Salzburg Main Station, then a direct high-speed train (ÖBB Railjet or Westbahn) straight to Wien Hauptbahnhof or Wien Meidling (approx. 2 hours 20 mins). - Graz Airport (GRZ): Walk 5 minutes to the airport train station and take a direct train straight to Wien Meidling or Wien Hauptbahnhof (approx. 2.5 hours). 💡 Tip for guests: Download the ÖBB Scotty or WienMobil app for real-time tram and bus connections from the train stations directly to our door.

Getting Around

Getting around Vienna from our location is incredibly quick and effortless, even without a car: - Direct Route to the City Center: We are exceptionally close to Tram Line 1. You can hop on this tram and it will take you directly into the heart of Vienna (the famous Ringstraße, Oper, Karlsplatz, the city center) without having to change lines! It's a highly scenic and convenient way to go sightseeing. - Public Transport Hubs: We are also located right between two of Vienna's largest transit hubs: Wien Hauptbahnhof and Wien Meidling. This gives you immediate, effortless access to the U-Bahn (Metro Lines U1 and U6), fast regional trains, and major tram/bus routes. - Shops & Daily Errands: Supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, and daily shopping needs are within quick walking distance (less than 3 minutes) inside and directly around the car-free Biotope City complex. - Navigating the City: We highly recommend downloading the ÖBB Scotty, WienMobil app or even better Moovit app on your phone. They provide flawless, real-time public transit routes directly from our address to anywhere in Vienna.

Hi there! I’m Anna. I am a patent lawyer with a deep passion for exploring the world. Having lived in more than 7 countries and studied at various universities across the globe, I truly value the cultural enrichment that travel brings. I live in beautiful Vienna, the capital of Austria. My home is a spacious 100 m2 apartment which I share with my 5-year-old son (in 2026) and my mother, a retired dentist. One of the highlights of our place is a large rooftop swimming pool: perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing, private jym and a private sauna as well as a huge rooftop terrace with a view to Alps and Vienna.
