We have been doing house exchanges for 12 years and always between houses.
This summer 2026, we decided to go to Austria, to Vienna and were able to exchange with Anna. This time it was in an apartment not far from the city center, quickly accessible by tram.
The apartment is on the 11th floor of an 11-storey building with a gorgeous pool on the 12th!
The building is located in an eco-district with gardens, children's playgrounds. But also restaurants and shops not far away on foot.
There is a breathtaking view of Anna's house, from her terrace. From the pool the view is 360 degrees, view of the mountains, the lake below, the city of Vienna.
At the level of the swimming pool, the inhabitants of the building each have large planters to grow tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini...
We watered every day because it was very hot and very beautiful. So we were able to harvest a lot of vegetables!
The apartment is spacious for a family of 4. It has 3 bedrooms. A large bathroom. A living room with kitchen.
The terrace, filled with flowers, allows you to cool off in the evening with a tea.
́ The building is modern with gym, swimming pool, washing machine and dryer in the basement.
We stayed for 11 nights and loved Vienna so much. Walks around in nature, but also Salzburg, Gratz..
We recommend that all PLU members contact Anna for a visit to Vienna and spend a few days at her place, why not! Discovery of museums, monuments, architecture, parks... A superb city where life is good!
