Hi everyone, my name is Patty and I live in Melbourne Florida, close to my two sons and daughter-in-law. My eldest son Max, is an anesthesiologist living in Phoenix Arizona along with his lovely wife, Laura, and their 18 month old daughter. Laura is expecting their second child in November, and I am very much needed there to help them. Laura is from Germany, and has no family here in the U.S. except for us. Max works long hours at the hospital, leaving Laura to manage most days without help, unless he is home on his days off. They have asked me to come for an extended visit to give them a helping hand, especially before the arrival of the new baby in November. However, their current home has a modest footprint, and they just don't have enough room for me to be comfortable during a visit. I would have to sleep in the small guest room that is set up as an office, which is right next to the nursery, and their bedroom. I'm afraid this cramped environment would prove to be challenging for all of us, negating some of the benefit of having a helping hand around. 
I own two rental homes in Melbourne, and one is an Airbnb furnished rental. I had the idea that I could look for a home swapping site to trade homes for an agreed time frame. My home near the beach, for your home in Phoenix. I could also leave you my 2022 Tucson Hybrid SUV to drive during your stay in Florida. Max lives near the Arcadia Lite area, so the closer I could be to him and Laura, the better. However, I would consider all areas.
Melbourne is located on Florida's Space Coast, and this area has some of the least crowded and beautiful beaches in Florida, as well as the Indian and Banana Rivers, that have scenic drives with the ocean on one side, and the river on the other. There is world class fishing, and many attractions and wonderful restaurants here to choose from! I will include a link to my furnished rental, that has all the photos and description of the home. I look forward to hearing from any of you in the Phoenix area that would be willing to swap homes. I am flexible with dates, but I was hoping to do a housing swap anytime around the first of November, to around mid December, or even into January. I would also be willing to swap as early as October, and come back to Florida in mid to end of December.
