Charming 3-bedroom Victorian-Craftsman home in a historic residential neighborhood.
Our home is a cozy 1920s Victorian with Craftsman details in a quiet, vibrant, walkable neighborhood.
The deck overlooks our backyard garden, which has vegetables, flowers, and herbs you can enjoy. There’s a brick patio for morning coffee. Our chickens will enjoy your company as you enjoy the garden sitting in the glider.
Like many historic homes in the city, we have 4 levels, which gives guests a lot of space to move about. The basement has the laundry and a sink for washing. It opens to the garden, patio, and driveway. The first floor opens to the front porch, back deck, and on-street parking. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, an office, a full bath, and a tv/library room. The third floor has a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa. Off this bedroom is a half bath. Each bedroom has a window AC unit and ceiling fans during warmer months. Guests must be comfortable with stairs to move between levels.
The back deck has a grill for BBQ. There's a table to enjoy breakfast with your coffee and the morning sunshine.
Our home is the perfect base for exploring the city, beautiful parks, flowing rivers, professional sports, and museums. Hiking and outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the abundance of waterfalls, gorges, and trails found with State and National Parks. History and Culture enthusiasts will enjoy visiting Gettysburg, Fort Ligonier, and Meadowcroft. Architecture enthusiasts will enjoy Falling Water home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Day trips could easily include exploring Cleveland, OH or Hershey, PA or Amish Country in Sugarcreek, OH.
If you're traveling with children, you don't want to miss places nearby like Kennywood Amusement Park, Sandcastle Water Park, or Idlewild & Soak Zone.
