General Overview

Our house is a historic apartment, built in 1846. It has 3 bedrooms, a separate lounge and kitchen and underfloor heated bathroom. It is within walking distance of the city centre and next to the iconic 4 lakes in Copenhagen and the large park, faelleparken and parken, the national football stadium.

The Space

We have 4 bikes you can use whilst you stay here. 
The kitchen diner is separate to the lounge. There are 3 bedrooms,  1 with s king size bed in it and two rooms with single beds. We also have a lovely mattress which can be used in the lounge

We live on the second floor. There is no lift in this building. We will leave a key in a key box for you

Amazingly it is so quiet here. Copenhagen is a clean, classy city. You are so close to the city centre as well as the beautiful lakes. The beach is 10 mine bike ride away, or a 5 minute bus ride

Getting to my home

Our apartment is 23 minutes by metro from the airport! We don't have a car and you don't need one in copenhagen

Nearest airport

Copenhagen (cph) is very close and accessible. The metro will cost 4 US dollars

Getting Around

The metro station is a 2 minute walk away and the bus stop is 1 minute walk. Osteoporosis
Osterport station is a metro stop away or a 10 minute walk

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Paul and Rebekka's apartment. The location is simply perfect, situated in a beautiful neighborhood right next to the Copenhagen Lakes, making it just a short walk to all the main attractions of the city. The apartment itself is bright, spacious, and beautifully decorated in true Scandinavian style. It has a warm, authentic 'hygge' atmosphere that instantly makes you feel relaxed and right at home. Paul and Rebekka are fantastic hosts. Communication with them was completely effortless, and we felt incredibly welcome throughout our entire stay. If you are looking for an authentic Copenhagen experience, this place is exactly what you need. We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and wholeheartedly recommend Paul and Rebekka to anyone visiting.

A great home in the centre of Copenhagen, it was very easy to reach (literary 27 minutes from the airport by metro). Paul was very easy to communicate with and super flexible. We had a fantastic 3 nights' stay in sunny Denmark - even swam in the sea multiple times. Do not miss this oppurunity especially if you are good on bikes and early wakers (there is waste collection each weekday starting super early in the morning)

I am welsh, my wife is Danish. Our boys are in late teens and are studying hard. I am a maths teacher and my wife studying to become a social worker. We moved to Denmark from the UK in 2025 where we were foster carers.  

We love our apartment in Central Copenhagen. We enjoy travelling and have visited France, Spain, Italy, canary islands, Bulgaria, Sweden, Turkey and of course the UK!
