General Overview

Our home is a sunny two-bedroom apartment in the Zehlendorf neighborhood of Berlin. We’re a six-minute walk from the Sundgauer Straße S-Bahn station, with direct access to the city center in 20 minutes. Zehlendorf is a quiet, green area with a small town center and several swimming lakes just a short bike or subwayride away. The primary bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom includes a large twin bed and an IKEA sleeper sofa. The apartment is suitable for two adults and one to two children, or three to four adults. Please note that this is our home, not a vacation property. Our home is clean and well cared for, but it reflects everyday living. We will provide fresh bedding and towels and make space for your clothes and personal items, though our belongings will remain in the apartment. Our home is especially well-suited for families with children—we have plenty of toys, including legos and Magna-Tiles, that you’re welcome to use.

The Space

The apartment is in a quiet, green part of Berlin with easy access to Berlin and beyond. The apartment has all necessary comforts - washer,dryer,dishwasher. A highlight is the balcony,. Outside there is a ping pong table (we have paddles for you to use) and a sandbox (we have plenty of sand toys for your use.) Directly behind the building is a small playground with larger playgrounds just a short walk away.

Neighbourhood

Zehlendorf is a quiet, residential neighborhood with it's own town center. You can easily access the sites of Berlin and Potsdam via public transport, bike or car. There is also plenty of street parking around the building.

Getting to my home

The closest subway stop is Sbahn Sundgauer Strasse (6min walk.) Sbahn Zehlendorf is a 13 minute walk. There are also numerous bus lines that go to S Zehlendorf.

Nearest airport

BER Airport (27 min drive, 1 hour by subway)

Getting Around

The area is very walkable and it is easy to go further distances via bike or public transport (we do not own a car and it is not an issue. There are car sharing vehicles (miles, freenow) parked throughout the neighborhood if needed. We have one adult bike, two child bikes and two scooters for you to use.
