We noticed Agnes and Nicolas listing in the new arrivals and sent them a message right away. Home exchange was new for them. Within three days we agreed on an non reciprocal exchange while they travelled elsewhere.
Their house in Saint Gaudens is beautifull. It is a large house with plenty of room and it is obvious that they decorated it with eye for details. The house is located in a quiet residential area but it is on walking and biking distance from the old city centre.
Saint Gaudens is a small(er) town but has everything one needs. Choice of restaurants, an indoor swimming pool, a beautifull local market (Thursday) and several truly good boulangeries.
If you like to hike you are set here. Check out places like Aspet or Abas for moderate hikes. But do not miss out on Luchon (30 minutes) . In winter a ski destination, in summer a hiking paradise.
We looked after the four chickens, which is an easy task with benefits.
