Our home is a spacious, light-filled family retreat in NW Calgary, perfect for experiencing the best of the city, the Rocky Mountains, and seasonal Alberta adventures all in one stay. With room for up to 6 guests, it is ideal for families, especially those with young children who will love the indoor and outdoor space to play, relax, and unwind.
Located on a quiet hilltop with beautiful city views, you will feel tucked away while still being just a short drive from everything. You are about 25 minutes from downtown Calgary and roughly 1 to 1.5 hours from Banff, Canmore, and the Rocky Mountains, making day trips to world-famous lakes, hikes, ski hills, and mountain towns incredibly easy. It is the perfect home base to explore the mountains without paying the high prices of staying inside the national parks.
We are currently looking for exchanges during winter 2026, Easter / spring break 2027, and possibly summer 2027. Our main focus right now is winter 2026, when Calgary is a great base for skiing, skating, snowy mountain day trips, Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis, Lake Louise, and cozy Canadian winter adventures.
For spring break, the mountains are still a major draw, whether you are hoping for skiing, scenic drives, early spring exploring, or a quieter Alberta getaway. For summer 2027, Calgary is also an amazing place to visit, especially during the Calgary Stampede, known as “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.” You can experience rodeos, concerts, midway rides, incredible food, and events happening all across the city. It is an unforgettable atmosphere and one of the most exciting times to visit Calgary.
The home itself is designed for comfortable family living, with a full kitchen, large dining space, and a beautifully landscaped backyard with a patio, BBQ, and plenty of room for kids to play. Whether you are cooking meals at home, enjoying time outside in the yard with the pool and sandbox, or heading out for daily adventures, this space makes it easy to feel settled, relaxed, and fully enjoy your trip.
We’re just a 2-minute walk to the ridge, where you’ll find scenic walking and biking paths that connect throughout the city and eventually lead all the way toward downtown. It’s a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood that feels quiet and elevated, while still being accessible:
• ~25 minutes to downtown Calgary
• ~1 hour, or just under, to the edge of the Rocky Mountains
• ~1 to 1.5 hours to Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis, and mountain adventures
