General Overview

We live in Inner Østerbro, which is a really popular area. Biking distance to everything in the city centre, harbour pool, beach etc. Walking distance to The Little Mermaid. Good public transportation to everything else. We live on a tree-lined boulevard with a lovely public park (and playground) in our back yard.

The Space

We live on the ground floor (mezzanine) in a listed building with crown moulding and other period features. The flat is sunny and colourful, a bit eclectic, 120 m2 with 2 livingrooms, 2 bedrooms and a separate kitchen. It can accommodate up to 5 people. There are two double beds (140 cm) and one single. Modern appliances incl. washer and dishwasher. Decent size bathroom for Copenhagen standards. We have plenty of board games and toys if you are travelling as a family. We have two sweet and easy cats, who will need a little love and food.

Guest Access

There are 10 steps from ground level, one level inside the flat.

Neighbourhood

It is a lovely, green part of the city close to the harbour, the lakes and several parks. Very popular residential area known as The Embassy Quarter.

Getting to my home

It is about half an hour from the airport by metro. Østerport train- and metro- station is a 10 minute walk away. You can catch long-distance trains from here as well as local trains. You can even take the train to Sweden. The bus is right around the corner. It goes to the station, to the city centre and further out. No need for a car, unless you want to explore the countryside.

Callie

Hello, I'm Callie and I live here in Copenhagen with my 8-year-old daughter Columbine and our two sweet cats, Måne & Silke. We do not travel that often, but when we do, we prefer longer stays (2-4 weeks) during the summer, somewhere it is not too hot, and with easy access to cities and culture. We are happy to babysit small pets (that do not need walking), and will expect you to look after our cats as well. We usually travel with my elderly mother as well, so we'll need at least two bedrooms and not too many stairs.
