General Overview

Townhouse dating from 1880, completely renovated with originality and taste. It is distinguished by its high Haussmannian ceilings and large volumes (approx. 240 m2). This duplex is located on the second and third floor of our property and is accessed by comfortable stairs – there is no elevator. It has 2 bedrooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms (1 shower and 1 bathtub), a living room with large sofas that can be used as comfortable beds for children and/or adults. We provide sheets and linen. There is also a gym. The kitchen is modern, equipped with new technology, spacious and well appointed. A large, recently built terrace offers a wonderful view of the vineyards and the Alps. Located in the center of a charming small town, many shops are within walking distance (supermarkets, pharmacy, post office, restaurants, etc.). A small train takes you to the famous ski and hiking resort of Villars. Many other sites for hiking, biking or skiing can be reached within a 30-minute drive. The main train station provides access to Geneva (airport) – Montreux – Zermatt – Milan – Paris, etc. Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails can be found in the plains and mountains. Lake Geneva is a 15 minute drive, we are 1 hour from Italy, 30 minutes from France and 3 hours from Germany. The mythical region of Gruyère can be reached in 45 minutes, Gstaad in 1 hour, Bern in 1 hour 10 minutes, Geneva in 1 hour 10 minutes and Zurich in 2 hours 20 minutes. Our wine region invites you to discover Swiss wines through cellar visits. Private parking spaces are available. Depending on the agreement, a car can be made available for reciprocal exchanges with the same counterparty. We would appreciate it if you could make the place as you found it: clean and tidy. This includes cleaning all used rooms, including the terrace, as well as the bathrooms and kitchen, gathering used linens, and removing sheets and covers before you leave. Where possible, alternative arrangements may be considered. Knowing that we are very professionally committed, we particularly appreciate that our guests play the game. She's equally passionate about cycling, which fuels many of her adventures. We both share a love for gastronomy, exploring new cultures, and seeking enriching experiences, with a special appreciation for art in all its forms. Our extensive experience since 2012, with home exchanges around the globe, has only deepened our desire to uncover the authentic essence of each place and the people who live there. We’re drawn to destinations rich in history, simplicity, and soul—places with a true spirit and character. We hold a deep respect for the homes that welcome us. For us, home exchanging is a rare and valuable gift.
