Our home is a spacious lifestyle property in Wainui, set on a good bit of land so there’s plenty of space for kids to run around and enjoy being outside.

It’s a 4-bedroom home with open living that flows out to outdoor areas, so it’s great for relaxing or hanging out as a family. It’s a nice mix of comfortable indoor space and easy outdoor living.

We’re a family of five based in Wainui, Auckland. It’s a quiet rural spot, but still only about 10–15 mins to Orewa, Waiwera and Wenderholm, so we spend a lot of time down that way. Waiwera’s great for easy beach days, and Wenderholm is perfect for swimming, walks, picnics and letting the kids run around.

Matakana is also a short drive away for markets, wineries and cafes, and Auckland CBD is about 35 mins.

We’ve got three kids who are pretty active and always on the go, so we’re usually out and about doing something.

We’re keen to try a house swap somewhere in Australia or the Pacific Islands, but pretty open to options and dates. Just looking for an easy, family-friendly place in a good spot.
