Neighbourhood

A nearby licensed store and service station, an electric vehicle charge point and lovely children’s playground are all walking distance. There’s a terrific Wood fired Pizza place down the road too - open in season.

Melbourne Airport - 3 hours drive.

Getting Around

There are a number of nearby lovely small towns within 15-30 mins (Fish Creek, Foster, Toora and Meeniyan) with larger centres 45 mins away ( Leongatha, Wonthaggi). Korumburra and Loch are approx an hour away. Nearby swimming beaches include Tidal River (25 mins), Sandy Point (20 mins) and Waratah Bay (20 mins) as well as terrific walking and fishing beaches Corner and Shallow inlets (less than 5 mins). Glorious Unspoilt National Park hikes and pristine beaches all easily accessible with short and longer walks & hikes inside Wilsons Prom National Park. The entrance is 3 mins away. Overnight hikes and camping avail to book at the Prom as well as fabulous Eco tours on the Amphibious Boats that leave from Tidal River (Book through us or Wanderers Adventures direct).

Hi there, Paula and I are in our 60's and would love to be able to travel more now our kids are grown - we have 6 adult children in our blended family! We live in the southernmost area of mainland Australia overlooking farmland and Wilsons Promontory National Park. It is a breathtakingly beautiful landscape with nearby beaches, hikes, and small towns. We have done Home Exchanges before, but not since we renovated and moved here full-time! So we are now looking for simultaneous or non-sim exchanges or Globes (when we get them!). We are looking for exchanges anywhere and prefer someone who wants to come here for a period of time, but would consider 2-3 nights for nearby Exchanges within Victoria. From mid 2027 we are open to any exchanges across Australia and also abroad from August 2028. We are 2.5 hours drive to Melbourne, which is one of the "World's most livable cities". There is a twice-daily bus to the city from nearby Fish Creek, but we can potentially arrange a car to assist with transport.
