General Overview

Our home is a Portuguese farmhouse on three hectares of private land, inside the Costa Vicentina Natural Park on the southwest coast. The house has two bedrooms, a work room that can also serve as a bedroom for a child, and a large open plan living room with kitchen that looks out towards the ocean. On clear days you see the Atlantic. The property has a biological swimming lake and a small pine forest. It is our second home. We lived there with our sons for three years before moving to a different place, not far from the farmhouse though. We both work remotely so the house has a fast Starlink connection. Odeceixe, the nearest village, is a former fishing spot where the river runs into the sea. Odeceixe beach is 10 minutes away by car and the famous Arrifana surf beach is located about 25 minutes from our home. The little town of Aljezur with its Saturday market and specialty coffee spots is 15 minutes away, and the Monchique mountains with hot springs and cork forests not much further.

Nat

We are a married couple from Poland with three boys, ages 10, 8 and 5. A few years ago we traded city life for the southwest coast of Portugal, where we live by the ocean. We care about nature and good design. We'd love to swap homes with a family that wants to listen to Atlantic and frogs from our bio-pool.
