General Overview

Nestled beyond the wildflowers and trees of our fifty-acre farm, our land is on a dead end road which means you will enjoy a peaceful vibe in the countryside with the sounds of the nearby goats and chickens. Foragers Farms is a thriving community of kindred spirits interweaving our love for the land to produce beautiful fruits, eggs and veggies for the surrounding area. Become immersed in nature with access to trails and open fields awaiting you! The cabins are meant for those wanting to turn off their phones and delve deep into relaxation. We have books and games in our Cucina Cabin Lounge, offering a spacious place to cook, eat, read, socialize or flop! Bring a book, walk, star gaze, sunbathe, meditate. Both cabins can sleep 2 people (one with a queen and the other with two singles). There is a shared electric compostable toilet. Normally there is a lot of events and things going on at the farm but for the 2026 season we have taken a sabbatical and have limited events/workshops.

We are a first generation family farm that is in its 10th year and have decided to take a sabbatical/year of rest with our two boys. We are hoping to find places nearby our farm in Cobourg, Ontario so that we can be nearby friends and family, while also working on some upgrades at our farm. Our home has been rented for this entire year so we can afford to do this but we do have two cabins on our property that we can offer as an exchange. We have not yet done a exchange but we often house-sit our farmers home/animals while they go away and have just joined Trusted Housesitter's with few lined up for this year already.
