Two minutes walk from our house to the wonderful Raumati Beach, with views to the internationally renown Kapiti Island Nature Reserve. Trips can be booked to the island https://www.kapitiisland.com/ Close to many excellent cafes, walk along the beach to Waterfront Brassiere, great views. https://waterfrontbar.co.nz/ Close to Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club - one of the top links courses in the world - borrow our golf clubs. https://www.paraparaumubeachgolfclub.co.nz/home Good rail links to Wellington city, 50 kms away, 40 mins drive. Only 3 and a bit hours drive to North Island ski fields. There are many safe cycling and waliking tracks in the region. Getting Around

There is a regular bus service at the end of our street that will take you to a shopping mall and the railway station. The train ride to Wellington is very scenic. Or you can borrow our car to visit other places in the region. We will meet you when you arrive and help you settle in
