Our large and bright flat is superbly placed on the edge of Hyde Park, 5 minutes walk from Paddington station and a short walk from Notting Hill and the famous Portobello road.
In a quiet neighbourhood, the flat is newly decorated in a contemporary style and has all the modern conveniences for a delightful stay in London.
Cafes and bars are just around the corner if you're staying local, but the flat is also superbly placed for transport links into London or for journeys to the rest of the UK.

The Space

The flat is split over 2 floors. At ground level is the entrance opening to a large open plan living room and kitchen.
Stairs lead down to the basement bedrooms and bathrooms. The large master bedroom has an en-suite shower and toilet, while the smaller 2nd bedroom has access to its own bathroom and shower.
Both bedrooms open to a light well bringing plenty of light into the rooms.
The washer and drier complete the basement facilities.

Guest Access

Access to the flat is from the ground floor with internal steps to the lower ground rooms.

Neighbourhood

The Paddington and Bayswater areas are fantastic parts of London and yet Queens Gardens is surprisingly quiet and peaceful.
Hyde Park is less than 5 minutes walk away with access to the unique Italian Gardens and Kensington Palace.
Across the park are the V&A, Science and Natural History Museums all offering free access.
Notting Hill and the markets of Portobello Road are 15 minutes walk away, but being close to Paddington Station, the whole of London is minutes away on public transport,

Getting to my home

There is street parking outside the flat (at a cost), but being a short 5 minute walk from Paddington station, train/tube/bus are the quickest and easiest ways to get to the flat.

Heathrow Airport is only 20 minutes away by express train and Gatwick Airport and hour away on the Gatwick Express train,

Getting Around

Paddington and Bayswater stations are 5 minutes walk from the flat and there are just as many bus stations and routes to get you around London

LYNNE and ED

We are a youthful retired couple who really enjoy exploring our amazing city of London as well as overseas travel and uncovering the secrets and surprises the world has to offer.
With our corporate careers behind us, we have both embarked on part time second vocations, Lynne as a couples therapist and Ed as a woodwork teacher at a local further education college. 
Lynne is from Anglesey in North Wales and Ed a product of the wonderful meeting of a Zambian dad and Cornish mother.
