General Overview

Warm and bright apartment located in Grenoble, in the heart of the Alps and with a retro design from the 60s. Enjoy magnificent views of the three massifs that surround the city of Grenoble. Oriented east-west, you will be captivated by the sunrise over the Belledonne range and the sunset over the Vercors. Have breakfast on the balcony and an aperitif on the balcony bar.

The Space

Located near the green lung of Grenoble (Paul Mistral Park, 10 min walk), our apartment is on the 4th floor of a beautiful secure condominium. Measuring 100m2, our apartment is of the crossing type with an east-west orientation which allows you to benefit from a beautiful light all day long and a breathtaking view of the massifs. On the Vercors side (west), you will find a large living/dining room. Sit back on the comfortable sofa to read a book or watch TV. This sofa is convertible. Very comfortable, it can accommodate 2 people. The first bedroom is our daughter's, there is a cot and everything needed for a toddler. There is also a second sofa bed that can be used as an extra bed. All these rooms have bay windows and direct access to a beautiful balcony where you can have an aperitif in the evening on our balcony-bar. On the Belledonne side (east), you will find a beautiful functional kitchen with its own balcony on which you can sit to enjoy your meals. You will also find the bathroom area with a bathtub and a sink, as well as a separate toilet. Finally, the large master bedroom bathed in light has a Queen size bed. The apartment also has a glazed work area overlooking the living room.

Notes

Grenoble is ideal for enjoying the joys of the mountains while enjoying an urban and cultural setting. It is the right compromise for skiing in winter (Chamrousse, Les 7 Laux, Villard-de-Lans 45 minutes away, Alpes-d'Huez or Les 2 Alpes 1h30) or hiking in summer, while planning shopping or cultural days. Similarly, Grenoble is at the crossroads of several massifs (Vercors, Belledonne, Oisans, Chartreuse), but also of several major tourist cities accessible by car or public transport (Lyon, Annecy, Aix-les-bain, Chambéry, ...). Summer is an opportunity to enjoy the many lakes near the city (Laffrey, Petichet, Paladru 45 minutes away). Grenoble and its region are also the ideal place to enjoy the joys of French and local gastronomy (e.g. gratin dauphinois, tartiflette, fondue, walnuts, frog's legs, charcuterie, chartreuse, Savoy wines, etc.). Did you know? Grenoble is also located 1 hour from the Walibi Rhône Alpes amusement park, ideal for children and adults.

Neighbourhood

A 5-minute walk from the large Paul Mistral park, ideal for jogging, walking or playing with your children. Several supermarkets are nearby (5-10 minutes walk). Bakery, pharmacy and tobacco shop 2 minutes away as well as a market available every morning from Tuesday to Sunday. You will be in the hyper center in 20 minutes on foot.

Getting to my home

Our apartment can be reached by public transport from the train station and bus station. Shuttles from Lyon or Geneva airports drop off travellers there. A secure parking space in the condominium also allows you to come by car from the motorway.

Getting Around

Various bus stops at the bottom of the building and less than 5 minutes walk (allows you to go to the city center in about ten minutes), bike path at the foot of the building, tram stop 10 minutes walk. Grenoble train station 25 minutes away by public transport.
