General Overview

Spacious and convenient 3-bedroom home with generous social areas and 2.5 bathrooms. The house has a lovely garden with apple trees and berries, and you’re close to both city life and nature. Please note: There are stairs up to the house, so it is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or who have difficulty using stairs.

The Space

Sleeping arrangements: -One 180 cm double bed -One 120 cm bed -Two 80 cm beds -Extra floor mattresses available on request. Layout: -Entrance level with social areas, kitchen and bed rooms -Downstairs in the cellar: cosy TV room and laundry room -upstairs we have a bathtub in the bathroom. -Downstairs we have a shower.

Neighbourhood

To do in the neighourhood: - Stockholm with everything it offers (museums, restaurants, nightlife etc) - Take the ferry, Waxholmsbolaget, to some of the nice islands in the archipilago (Grinda, Finnhamn, Möja etc) Stay the day or spend a night there. Tell us if you want to use tent/camping gear. It's also possible to rent cabins. -Take the car to Björnö, bring a picnick, and enyoy the see. -Go to the lokal spa Yasuragi. -Go to my favorite close by lakes: Glasbrukssjön and Trollsjön/Vittjärn.

Getting Around

The most convenient option for excursions is to have access to a car. We also have bikes you can borrow: two cyclocross bikes (size approximately 58") and one electric bike. I personally bike to work in the city centre (about 15 km). There is a bus stop 1 km away with buses that take you to Slussen, Södermalm, in about 20 minutes.

We live outside Stockholm, Sweden, between the city center and the archipilago, in a calm neighbourhood with closeness to nature and lakes for swimming in the summer.
