General Overview

Our home is just outside of Sunriver resort - resort town proximity without the resort crowds! We are on a 1/2 acre lot that backs up to miles and miles of National Forest land. Our neighborhood has two private park and boat launch areas on the Deschutes River. We are 20 minutes from Mt. Bachelor, 30 minutes from Bend, and less than an hour away from the numerous lakes along the Cascade Lakes highway.

The Space

Our home is a new (2019) cozy, comfortable manufactured home. We have 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths (one with a jacuzzi tub), and 2 separate office spaces for remote workers with high speed internet. Our kitchen is well stocked with more than just the basics (Paul is quite the chef!) For reciprocal exchanges involving flights, you may need to look after our dog Lola. She's a sweetheart and has all 5 star reviews on Home Exchange and Trusted Housesitters!

Notes

We may have a car for you to use. We also offer two sit-on kayaks and one inflatable SUP in the summer and two sets of snowshoes for the winter months.

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful - there isn't any through traffic. Our house sits back a bit from the street so there isn't any traffic noises. We have 2 private neighborhood park / boat launch / river access spots.

Nearest airport

Redmond airport (RDM) is 35 minutes away from our home.

Getting Around

The closest shops are in Sunriver Village, a 10 minute drive from our home. Bigger shops (large chain grocery stores, Costco, etc.) are 30 minutes away in Bend.
