General Overview

This home is in a residential area near Chelwood park in Northeast Heights. Having a car will make things a lot easier; the public transportation is not great. It is also located by the foothills of the Sandia mountain. There are many trails including the most famous one, La Luz trail, which, will take you to the top of the mountain in a few hours. There is a tramway taking people to the top with some amazing views from the cable car. The Sunport airport (ABQ) is about 20 minutes away. One of the most cities to check out in New Mexico is the capital city Sant Fe, the oldest state capital of the United States. Albuquerque is about 6 hour drive to Denver, CO; 6 hours to the Grand canyon, AZ; about 4 hours to El Paso, TX and about 12 hours to San Diego, CA. Not to forget Las Vegas, NV another 8 hour-drive. The largest hot balloon festival in the world is held here in Albuquerque in October. Amazing experience!!
