General Overview

Aarhus city has many of interesting attractions for both children and grown ups and beautiful nature experiences in the region. 

Museums: The Old City, Aros Art museum, Moesgaard Museum (archaeology and etnology) and a number of small, interesting museums like, KØN - Gender Museum and Besættelsesmuseet.

Funparks and zoos: Tivoli, Legoland (50 min. drive), Ree Park Zoo and Scandinavian Animal park (highly recommendable) (45 min drive) 

Our home is close (10 min.) to charming Aarhus city center, 15 min by car from great beaches which are very nice in the summer. We live in a nice and calm neighbourhood. The home has a lovely garden with an evening sun terrace and a trampoline. 1 fully fitted bathroom and 1 toilet. Our friendly cat Candy also live in the house and require fresh water, food and a little love - nothing else and no cat litter to empty. 

Master bedroom with Tempur King size bed. We can provide bicycles for 4 people. We are open for car-swap as well.

We enjoyed this home exchange very much. The house of Sidsel, Hakon and their children is very pleasant, located in a quiet area and located a few kilometers from the city center of Aarhus. We corresponded a lot during the exchange to give news, ideas for restaurants, visits... It was very nice ! We enjoyed keeping company with Candy the cat, who requires little care, just a little attention and cuddles. Danish life is simple and pleasant, we are delighted to have discovered a part of this country. Thank you to all this lovely Danish family for their kindness.

Sidsel and Hakon have a small lovely house in the suburbs of Aarhus, rather typical to this Danish area (at least that was our impression). It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay, a patio, a small pool and a trampoline if your kids are active ones. In the package comes also a very friendly and clean cat, Candy, that would expect a bit of 'cat-love'. Our son fell in love with her at the 1st sight ;-) But she has her own ways, so would not bother you at all. The communication with Sidsel and Hakon was also a frequent one before and during our stay. They really care about you and provide any needed advice so that you enjoy it to the maximum. Thank you a lot, Sidsel, Hakon, Olivia and Valdemar, for this great experience. And see you in Poland for Easter!
