Neighbourhood

Quiet, safe, walkable and bikable, the neighborhood is top notch in Seattle, with a little center of its own which offers cafes, bakery, restaurants, shops, farmers market in summer, etc. # 5 minutes walk to the zoo (a favorite for all family members). # 10-15 mins drive to beaches (rocky or sandy), with great view of mountains and hiking trails for all the family. # walking distance (5-10 minutes) to a couple of parks and playgrounds # 3 blocks from bus stop, north-south and east-west, which can take you to downtown in about 10 minutes. # 18 miles from the airport (20-30 minutes). #1 mile to Green Lake where you can jog or play tennis or kayak (summer only) or let the kids burn off energy at the playground or the swimming pool at the community center. SeaTac, 20 mins drive. Vancouver, 2 hours drive.

Getting Around

Restaurants and groceries can be done on foot. Buses are very convenient, just 3 blocks away. We have bikes for adults and kids.
