Our cozy 4.5-room apartment is located in a quiet outer neighborhood of Zurich, right at the edge of the forest — a place where city life and nature come together in an easy, unforced way. The flat is bright and spacious, with a very generous living room and a fireplace that makes the space especially welcoming in the evenings. There is one bathroom, a separate toilet, and a covered balcony that works well in any season.

The area is calm and very family-friendly. A green play meadow and a small playground are right in front of the building, making it easy for children to play outside while adults enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Forest walks begin just steps from the front door, and Zurich’s city center is still easy to reach by public transport — efficient and straightforward, as you’d expect here.

Zurich is a great base for exploring Switzerland: hiking trails, mountain railways, and scenic villages are all within easy reach for day trips. Whether you enjoy being outdoors, discovering local food, or simply slowing down and enjoying well-organized everyday life, Switzerland offers plenty of space to do things at your own pace. Each season brings something different — long walks in autumn forests, cozy winter evenings, and bright spring and summer days spent outside.

Getting to my home

It is a 20min. Bus ride away from Zurich Main Station, or about 40min. from Zurich Airport.

Getting Around

Public Transport is generally amazing in switzerland. Getting around by bus or train is super easy and brings you pretty much anywhere you'd like. If you still want to rent a car, there are public parking spaces in front of the house, wich you can buy monthly tickets for.
