Neighbourhood

We live in a small quinessential English village called Harwell in Oxfordshire. There is a pub (great food!), corner shop and butcher a few steps away. Our neighbours are friendly and fabulous. Didcot is the town next to Harwell. There are buses from the village and take 10 mins. There you will find the supermarkets, banks, post office and Orchard Center for TK Maxx, Boots, cinema, McDonalds etc. Didcot train station will take you to Paddington in 39 mins, Oxford in 13mins, Reading in 13 mins and access to the Cotswold. In fact, we are so central to so many places! Visit London for the Tower of London, London Eye, Oxford Street shopping, the broadway shows and the multi-culture cuisines available. Visit Oxford for the rich history, tours of the universities/libraries. museums and boating Visit Cotswold for the famous chocolate box houses and rolling countryside. You will also find Jeremy Clarkson's farm shop and Farmer's Dog pub (need to book ahead due to popularity). Visit Bicester Village for the famous outlet shopping (Bicester train station is in the heart of the village).
