Welcome to our home – a beautiful and cozy 1930s villa with classic New England-inspired style, located in a quiet and family-friendly neighborhood in Täby, just outside Stockholm. Our house combines charm and character with modern comfort. It is a warm and inviting space, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, with plenty of room for both adults and children. One of the highlights of our home is the outdoor area. Here you will find a large pool, a jacuzzi, and a spacious garden – perfect for long summer days, playtime, and relaxing evenings. There is also a barbecue, ideal for enjoying dinners outside during the lighter Scandinavian evenings. Inside the house, you will find a sauna – perfect for unwinding after a day out, no matter the season. The area, Skarpäng in Täby, is known for its safe and welcoming atmosphere. It is ideal for families and offers easy access to beautiful nature, forests, and walking paths. There are several playgrounds nearby, as well as great opportunities for swimming, biking, and outdoor activities. At the same time, you are close to the city. Stockholm city center is easily accessible by public transport, making it simple to explore everything the capital has to offer – from historic old town streets to modern restaurants, museums, and shopping. You will also find grocery stores, cafés, and local services nearby, making everyday life easy and comfortable during your stay. This is a perfect place if you are looking to experience both the calm of Swedish nature and the vibrant life of Stockholm – all while staying in a comfortable and welcoming family home. We are a Swedish family of four who love to travel and experience everyday life in new places. Our family consists of me, my partner Marcus, and our two daughters, Olivia (11) and Belle (8). Marcus works as a Development Manager at one of Sweden’s leading hospitals, and I work as a Program Manager at a government agency. We both enjoy an active lifestyle and value spending quality time together as a family. Olivia and Belle are curious, social, and used to traveling. They love exploring new places, finding great playgrounds, swimming, and trying new foods – and they are very respectful of other people’s homes. For us, travel is about more than sightseeing. We enjoy living like locals – shopping for groceries, cooking at home, discovering small favorite spots, and getting a feel for the everyday rhythm of a place. As guests, we are very responsible, tidy, and trustworthy. We truly respect the idea of home exchange and understand the importance of taking great care of someone else’s home. We will treat your home with the same care as our own. When we travel, we are looking for a comfortable and welcoming home in a safe area, ideally with good access to public transport or within walking distance to shops, parks, or local attractions. Since we travel with children, family-friendly surroundings are a big plus. In return, we offer a well-kept and welcoming home and will do everything we can to make your stay smooth and enjoyable.
