Notes
We can't always take our cat with us, but she is very easy to care for. Keller is partially blind so she will not bolt out the door and she is slow and won't get far if she is outside. It is easy to pick her up and put her back inside. Feed her 2-4 times a day when you are home (no need to change your plan for her as long as she is fed at least morning and night). She likes to sun outside when you are home or play with mylar crinkle balls or sleep on the couch when she is inside. If she really likes you she will sleep with you in bed. There is a litter robot, so for stays of more than 1 week, the bag will need to be changed weekly.

Neighbourhood
Great neighbors, weekly farmers markets nearby, shopping center with CVS (drugstore), Ross (discount clothing, toys and housewares), Target (affordable store for everyday supplies), Smart n Final groceries, Starbucks, Coffeebean and Tea Leaf, McDonalds, El Pollo Loco, food trucks, public transportation on La Cienega Blvd. Outdoor exercise equipment is available at several parks nearby. Gorgeous stately neighborhood is just West of the house if you like to run. We'll give you a list of activities, restaurants and so forth so you will have plenty to do. We're about a 10 minute drive from great hiking paths and the Culver city stairs for workouts with a view as well.
Getting to my home
Easiest by car from LAX (rental or ride share).
Nearest airport
LAX is only 15-20 minutes from the house on most days.
Getting Around
Shops for everyday necessities are available at the end of the block. A car is recommended to get around Los Angeles however ride share is available as is the bus line which connects to metro as well. We may put our car on Turo to make it available with proper insurance. Traffic is different at different times of day. I recommend the Waze app to plan your routes and travel times.

Tiffany and Ruth
Hi! We’re Tiffany and Ruth. We’re a lovely and low key couple celebrating 22 years together. Recently retired. Foodies, explorers, nature lovers, culture seekers, home owners and just a couple of young old-ladies-in-training. Our goal is to travel the world as much as possible, enjoying the food and culture wherever we go. Home swapping will help make that a reality. Ideally we'd like to stay 3 weeks to several months in major cities in Europe, UK, Hawaii, Silicon Valley, Chicago. We have a housekeeper clean weekly at our home in Los Angeles (we can cancel her while you are here) and would keep your place neat and tidy too. We have a very sweet, well-behaved and low-dander cat named Keller who was rescued from a hurricane in the Bahamas 🐈⬛ We’d love to take Keller with us on longer trips, but understand she will likely need to stay home and have our houseguests in Los Angeles watch over her. She's easy to love and care for. We have a litter robot to make that part easy too!
