General Overview
We live in a detached three bedroom house in the lovely residential suburb of Southbourne, Bournemouth with a good sized garden. A quiet space to relax and socialise indoors and out. Lots of outdoor activities locally especially the sandy beach and rivers to play out on. A short drive to the beautiful New Forest, Purbecks (with nature reserves at Arne and Studland), plus the Jurassic coast (world heritage site) and lovely rural Dorset. The whole region is geared up for tourism and recreation.
The Space
A spacious home with modern kitchen and large dining table. There is a big lounge with lots of board games, lego and TV. Three bedrooms with the main bedroom ensuite. Two bedrooms have single beds with extra pull outs to attach and make a double or have separate twins. In this way, it is possible to sleep 6 (though the back bedroom would be a squeeze). Suitable for toddlers though no stairgate.
Guest Access
Ground floor access to kitchen and lounge. Easy access to back garden. Upstairs to bedrooms and bathrooms.
Notes
Log burner in lounge. Three bikes available to use (1 x electric). Paddleboard body boards and surfboard.

Duncan & Tess
We are a family of four who love the outdoors and travelling - we've made so many memories with all the places to visit locally. We regularly cycle and walk in the beautiful local coast or New Forest nearby. Our boys are 14 and 17 and active in scouts, the pool and surfing in the sea all year round! We love nights away in our campervan but have outgrown it so a home-swap now sounds ideal. Initially somewhere we can get to in Europe or the UK.
Tess is a teacher, Duncan is a gardener and geography tutor, so we would love to take breaks either at weekends (all year) or during the holidays.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
