General Overview

We fell in love with this house because of its history and soul. As a listed Dutch national monument, it was originally built as the village shoemaker’s home, and you can still sense that craftsmanship and community in its atmosphere and details. We love the character of an old house, its uniqueness, the light in the rooms, and the calm, combined with the comfort of a place that is truly cared for. It feels cosy and grounded, yet special. What makes it even more meaningful to us is not only the house itself, but also its location: surrounded by beautiful nature, with greenery all around and wonderful opportunities for walking and relaxing outdoors. It is a place where we enjoy cooking together, sharing long conversations, opening a bottle of wine, or simply unwinding after a day outside. For us, it’s not just a house, but a home and we love sharing that feeling with others.
