Our house was well looked after and all our chickens were doing well. However, we came home to a house where the cleaning was again a bit questionable. We generally expect to come home to a house that is as clean as when we left it. There was no dust wiped off or vacuumed and the frying pans were covered in oil, so we had to start cleaning again. It was a bit of a mess. On the other hand, they had repaired a bicycle that was a bit questionable when they arrived. Our son was very happy about that. They had left a nice greeting in our guest book and some nice drawings from their children.

I am very sorry, but after this exchange I cannot leave a positive review. Although your family spent time here while my father was present and looking after the house — and apart from being very involved in helping you - he did not have much negative to say. You came to a house located in the mountains in winter with a car that was not prepared for such conditions even though you had been clearly informed before your arrival that this would be necessary. However, the worst thing is something else. Before leaving, I placed certain items in our private room, in our wardrobe — things that were obviously not meant to be touched. I also left there my son’s very valuable Lego collection. Most of the pieces he had carefully collected and assembled over a long period of time were displaced. Some of his assembled models missed pieces. He was devastated and angry.

Lubica and her family were nice to have. They were in constant exchange with us, from texts to voice messages and video calls. We got to know them as a loving family. They left our place proper and ready for us to return late at night. Thank you also for taking care of our rabbits, which we found happy and healthy upon our return. Lubica and Dominik with their 3 children are very sweet and heart opening guests. We loved to have them here and share a couple of days together. The weather was not so good but anyway we had some nice talks and they left everything tidied up and clean so I had no work after their stay. I hope to soon see them again and get to know slowakia .
