General Overview

There's lots of green spaces nearby, including a beautiful walk through the forested Braid Burn, which is teeming with birdlife, as well as deers, horses and sheep, and Inch Park. Our home has easy access to public transport, to access the city, Arthurs Seat, Portobello Beach or the Pentland Hills. It is also located in a very quiet neighbourhood.

The Space

It's a two bedroom bungalow over one level, however only one bedroom is furnished (with a double bed) and available to guests. There is also a sofa which converts into a double bed. There is a combined lounge/dining, bathroom and kitchen.

Guest Access

You'll have the whole house, and front and private back garden, to yourself.

We operate this property as an Airbnb so stays will depend on availability between our Airbnb guests. Please reach out to see if our calandar is open for your dates. The house is strictly non-smoking.

Neighbourhood

Quiet, leafy neighbourhood with lots of green spaces. Just 300 metres to beautiful Braid Burn for forest walks, 10 minutes by bus/5 minutes drive to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, and a short walk to the University of Edinburgh King's Buildings. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, people needing to stay close to the hospital and students requiring short term on-campus attendance. A home away from home.

Getting to my home

Easy access by car or taxi from the Edinburgh Airport, or by bus from the city.

Nearest airport

Edinburgh Airport is a 20 minute (approximately £50) taxi ride away. Public transport (bus or tram to the city, then bus to the house) would take approximately 1 hour.

Getting Around

Excellent links to public transport. There are 7 bus lines all within a 5-minute walk that will take you into the city and beyond.
