General Overview
Our home is located just 10 minutes from downtown Boulder, and a half hour from Denver. We live in a quiet, suburban neighborhood with a playground right around the corner and easy access to many local trails. There are gravel trails accessible more or less from our front door, and it's a 15 minute drive to the Boulder foothill trails, taking you into hundreds of miles of open space.
There's also a small reservoir with a beautiful view of the foothills around the corner of our house, where many birds of prey can be seen swooping down for a tasty meal :)
The house itself is cozy and well-lived in. We have two boys in PreK, so you'll find many family-friendly accessories.
The Space
Our house is a cozy, well loved and lived in 3 bedroom ranch. It's set up for kids, with an abundance of toys, high chairs, kid cups, plates, etc. We have 2.5 bathrooms, a very well stocked kitchen and living room with a large flat screen TV and fireplace. We also have a large backyard with a playhouse, garden and fire pit.

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is quiet and family-oriented. There is a playground around the corner of our house, and a small reservoir with a view of the mountains just beyond. In downtown Louisville you'll a find fabulous bakery, coffee shops, wine bar, and a variety of restaurants.
Getting to my home
If you fly into DIA, we are about a 45 minute drive north from the airport. There's also a bus that will drop you off about 5 minutes down the road from our house.

Getting Around
There are lots of buses nearby, and it's easy to bike into downtown Louisville. You'll likely want a car for going into Boulder and taking on some bigger adventures, however.

My husband and I have spent the majority of our young lives as world travelers--we've been on a 2 month, cross country African safari, spent time in SE Asia, and we lived in New Zealand for 5 years, before returning back to the United States to start our family. These days, we live in Boulder, Colorado, with our two kids and a mini schnauzer (also a world traveler, she's from NZ!). We have traveled less since starting a family, but now that are kids are getting older we're eager to get back to doing something we love, which is seeing the world, meeting new people, hiking and scuba diving. We're new on People Like Us, but looking forward to building community here.
