General Overview

Bright and welcoming 3+ bedroom with 1 bath and a sunny balcony with space to lounge and have a drink or eat outside. Our home is in a residential neighborhood with all the local amenities, right next to the Turia, Valencia's biggest park, and an easy 15-minute stroll to the heart of the Old Town.

The Space

We love to cook and watch movies, so our home is well equipped for these activities. If you come with a laptop you can connect to our projector and watch movies on our ~2 meter screen in the living room, with surround sound and blackout curtains if needed for daytime viewing. The mattresses are all new and of the highest quality, the softest bamboo sheets, and an assortment of anti-allergy pillows to choose from. We typically use 2 of the bedrooms as offices, but we also have two single guest beds in the (locked) fourth bedroom. Depending on how you would like to use the space, we can keep the desks or put a bed in either or both of the other bedrooms to sleep up to 4 guests total. Amenities: -Elevator building -Washing machine in unit -Large drying rack and outdoor clotheslines (+ Spanish ☀️) -Iron, steamer, full-size ironing board Kitchen: -Drinking water filtration system built into sink faucet -Bosch refrigerator -Induction stovetop -Air fryer/convection oven -Instant pot/rice/oatmeal cooker -Slow cooker -Vitamix blender -Instant electric kettle -Drip (built-in) filter electric coffee maker, moka pot, and v60 drip coffee maker -Coffee grinder Entertainment: -2-meter projection screen -Cieling-mounted projector -Surround sound system -Free weights, bar, and weight bench available upon request -Backgammon -Lots of jigsaw puzzles -Books in English and Spanish

6th floor of 7-story apartment building Elevator Ground floor has three wide steps with handrail to reach elevator platform (building management is pursuing options to remove this barrier to accessibility)

Notes

Minimum stay 1 month. Cleaning fee of 60€ to be left in cash. Additional cleanings during your stay can be arranged for weekend days directly with our cleaner. For stays longer than a month, a monthly cleaning is required. We don't smoke, so please don't smoke inside our home. No parties, no filming, no guests outside of our agreement. Neighbourhood

What you will love in the neighborhood: Runner's paradise -- steps (4 minutes walk) from the Turia, Valencia's biggest park, with 10k (each way) of multiple continuous, traffic-free paths, playgrounds, sports fields, skate parks, etc. At the west end you can continue farther on dirt trails or detour to the cage-free zoo (Bioparc), and at the east end you can go through the City of Arts and Sciences all the way to the beach! Neighborhood living -- local bar/cafe literally across the street, next to a big supermarket. Or, if you prefer smaller shops, we have a butcher, produce shops, and a fresh fish shop all on our block and a bakery just around the corner. Easy access to the heart of downtown -- a lovely 15-minute stroll to the heart of the Old Town, known as El Carmen.

- Easy 20-minute taxi ride from Valencia airport - Regional/long-distance train station 15-minute taxi, 25-minute tram ride away - Regional/long-distance bus station less than 10-minutes walk - Free parking lot around the corner if you come by car (though a car is not needed here)

Getting Around

We walk everywhere, but public transportation options are plenty if you're not a walker. - Public transportation all around -- buses, tram to the beach, subway in the Turia. Buy tickets at any tobacco shop. - Bike share system Valenbisí super easy to activate and stations steps away in every direction - Uber and Free now taxi apps

My husband and I lived around the world as digital nomads for 7 years before buying our home in Valencia. We only travel half time now. We both work remotely, and we love exploring new and familiar places by walking everywhere, running a lot, and trying local foods and drinks. We also appreciate quality time at home cooking, watching movies, and drinking wine or coffee on our balcony.
